In line with its tireless efforts to strengthen academic and research ties, the School welcomed a high-level delegation representing a group of prestigious Chinese and Malaysian universities. The visit aimed to explore new horizons for international collaboration.
The delegation was received by Professor Basel Mahafzah, Dean of the School; Dr. Mohammad Salem Al-Atoum, Head of the Computer Science Department; Dr. Yousef Sanjalawi, Assistant Dean for Development and Accreditation; Dr. Dima Suleiman, Deputy Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at the University of Jordan; and Ms. Ola Shalbak, the Quality Liaison Officer at the School.
The visit featured extensive discussion sessions where both parties explored ways to establish strategic partnerships across various interdisciplinary research groups and activities between the School and global research centers at the visiting universities. Furthermore, proposals were discussed for organizing joint international scientific conferences in the near future, aimed at facilitating the exchange of academic expertise and boosting scientific research movements among students and researchers from different countries.
During a field tour of the School's facilities and laboratories, the visiting delegation expressed their deep admiration for the University's advanced infrastructure. They particularly commended the high academic and technical standards of the School, noting that its capabilities position it among leading educational institutions capable of competing on a global scale.
The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to maintaining ongoing communication to establish clear timelines for implementing the shared visions and goals, serving the educational and research objectives of all institutions involved.
