Shanghai ranking 2021
Body
According to Shanghai 2021 global ranking by academic subjects, the University of Jordan ranking in the Computer Science and Engineering category has moved a hundred places and currently rank in the top 201-300 universities globally, while it ranked 301-400 last year.
The Shanghai ranking focuses in its methodology on the quality of research published by the institutions. The ranking uses the following objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in relevant subjects: research output (Q1), research influence (CNCI), international collaboration (IC), research quality (Top), and international academic awards (Award). The University of Jordan scored high results in most of the categories due to the high-quality publications in the computer science field and its related topic published by the staff of the University of Jordan.
