Students from the University of Jordan, as part of the OptiGuide team, have qualified for the regional Orange competition by winning their project to develop a future visual assistance tool.
As part of the Orange Summer Challenge 2023, themed "Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things," the OptiGuide team, consisting of six students, three of whom are from the University of Jordan, with two students from the Engineering College and one student from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, collaborated with three other colleagues from different Jordanian universities.
The OptiGuide team included students Abdulrahman Al-Maryan from the Mechatronics Engineering Department, Mohammad Al-Najjar from the Artificial Intelligence Department, and Firas Obeid from the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Jordan, along with Younis Al-Azza from Al-Balqa Applied University, Sally Ashraf from Hashemite University, and Raghad Ajami from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
