An agreement between the Arab Bank and the University to develop the college facilities.

The President of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nadeer Obeidat, discussed with the Chief Executive Officer of Arab Bank, Randa Al-Sadek, ways to enhance the mutual cooperation between the University and the bank in academic and technological fields. During the meeting, Obeidat expressed his appreciation for the contributions made by Arab Bank to enhance the education process and develop skills at the University, emphasizing that the bank serves as a leading model in its societal contributions and active role in higher education and the development of students' technical skills as builders of the future.

The visit included the inauguration of the Arab Bank Cybersecurity Lab at the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, in the presence of the Dean of the School, Dr. Bassel Mahafza, and several faculty members in the Cybersecurity Department. The lab was established in collaboration with the bank to serve as a specialized center for practical training on the latest cybersecurity technologies.

Faculty members from the department and lab administrators highlighted the importance of having this lab within the department, as well as the subjects taught in it, including digital forensic investigations, network security, security principles, information security and privacy, and problem-solving labs.
