Opportunities to demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes are provided through the following assessment methods:
The current major assessment methods are manifested below:
1)STUDENTS ASSESSMENT IN PROGRAM COURSES
Taught courses assessments are as follows:
•The Final exam counts for 40% of the overall course assessment.
•The Mid Term exam counts for 30% of the overall course assessment
•Research: Paper-like writing; Reports; and Presentations count for 30% of the overall course assessment.
2) STUDENTS ASSESSMENT IN QUALIFYING EXAM
Students must pass the Qualifying Exam, which is held each semester and based on the University calendar.
3) STUDENTS ASSESSMENT OF THE PHD THESIS
Students must pass the discussion of their PhD Thesis, in which a particular discussion committee makes this decision.
