KASIT hosted Dr. Eng. Daniela Alexandra CRIȘAN from ARU

As a part of the Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional agreement between The University of Jordan (UJ), and the Romanian-American University (RAU) ,  King Abdullah II School for Information Technology (KASIT) hosted Dr. Eng. Daniela Alexandra CRIȘAN, the associate professor in the Computer Science for Business Management Faculty at RAU, from 12 through 16 May, 2024. Dr. CRIȘAN holds a PhD degree in in Automatic Control from “Politehnica” University in Bucharest. Her research interests span fractals and their applications in medical image processing. Dr. CRIȘAN authored and co-authored 11 didactic books in Computer Programming, and published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers. She is an active member on 12 research teams, and is an editor in specialized journals.
During her visit, Dr. CRIȘAN delivered lectures on Data visualization, Computer Vision, Modeling and Simulation, Theory of Algorithms, and Web Programming. She also held meetings with KASIT Dean, departments chairmen, and faculty to discuss opportunities for further collaboration.
