8. Suggestions for Improvement:

The study plan of CS department should have practical courses.
 (25%)

There should be more focus on the teaching process; some doctors, while great with their research, their teaching skills might not be optimal.

First and foremost, I think the largest problem is the sheer number of students vs the number of instructors. I felt that instructors are being overrun with too many classes and students to provide adequate help to each and every student. Instructors with multiple sections with 100+ students each will not have much time or energy to give a material or a student the effort required. The ratio of incompetent and unwilling students versus competent and interested students is also too high. Which leads to a low signal/noise ratio which slows down instructors even more when trying to provide the material necessary. I have had some courses that ran out of time before going through even half the syllabus material due to such students that distract the instructor or are unwilling to have the class move forward. Another issue with the large number of students is that it does not leave any laboratories or lecture halls free for students to casually gather at and be able to learn with each in an extracurricular fashion. Another anti-casual-learning practice I noticed -at the time I was a student- is the blocking of websites such as GitHub, Hacker Rank and Codeforces which is infuriating to say the least.
